Planning, not a determination. Republic Tax Relief is a private company, not the IRS. This tool does not approve relief, stop collection, establish a legal deadline, or replace review of your tax transcripts and financial records.
Payment projections: use a constant annual interest assumption, daily compounding converted to equal monthly periods, and month-end payments. Future penalties, setup fees, professional fees, quarterly rate changes, exact payment dates and allocation rules are excluded. The IRS’s actual payment may be higher. Available terms depend on the remaining collection period and the agreement.
Settlement screening: compares available assets and budget capacity against full repayment first. Only when that screening fails does it illustrate available asset equity plus 12 or 24 months of remaining income. Detailed personal-asset estimates may then consider the $1,000 bank and $3,450 vehicle exclusions described in Form 433-A(OIC); the second vehicle exclusion is modeled only for a joint offer. An offer must be more than $0, and the IRS can require more or reject it. State tax and entity-level business settlements are not estimated.
Expenses: actual budget amounts are not verified IRS allowances. The optional food/household and age-based health baselines use the national standards effective June 29, 2026. Local housing, utilities, vehicle limits, expense exceptions, ownership allocation, and special hardship factors need individual analysis. Low-income fee screening uses gross income and the Form 656 table; the IRS verifies the final decision.
Hardship & penalties: hardship collection status does not cancel a tax balance, and interest and penalties can continue. Penalty relief depends on the specific penalty, period, compliance history, and facts; the amount entered is not promised savings.
